Two weeks from Friday, the party in Rio begins as the 2016 Summer Olympics kick off with the opening ceremonies.
Apparently not everyone in Brazil is ready to party.

An apparent protester this week in Joinville, a coastal city some 600 miles southwest of Rio, tried to extinguish the Olympic flame with a fire extinguisher during the relay winding its way to the site of the Games.
Video of the incident was posted Wednesday on YouTube, with a caption that translates from Portuguese to English as, "Man tries to erase the Olympic torch with fire extinguisher."
He was quickly apprehended after the unsuccessful attempt, and the relay continued.
