In the Road to UFC women's strawweight final at UFC Macau, China's Shi Ming knocked out her countrywoman Xiaocan Feng in the third round.

Ming was more than a ten-to-one underdog at the time on the live betting line after being three-to-one to win before the fight began.

However, the 30-year-old did not celebrate despite earning a UFC contract with the sudden knockout. She must have known that it was a bad one.

Feng never did stand up in the arena. After three minutes she was stretchered out by medical professionals to be taken immediately to a local hospital.

The UFC broadcast did mention that the 22-year-old was conscious and talking at the time of being put on the stretcher, thankfully.

The post-fight was muted due to the worry for Xiaocan’s health, but Ming’s resiliency to come from behind for a highlight reel knockout. If Road to UFC fighters are eligible for post-fight bonuses in Macau then Shi will surely receive $50,000 extra for her work
