The Texas Rangers had such a good day Thursday in Minnesota that they could let a position player pitch in a win.

Even better, he held the Twins scoreless and hitless in his inning of work to close out a 16-3 win.

Ezequiel Duran put on quite the amusing show in the bottom of the ninth inning at Target Field.

It's certainly a change of pace for the opposing team, that's for sure.

Duran hadn't pitched yet this season, so if you set a minimum of one inning, he's got the best ERA and WHIP in Major League Baseball.

That's the best part of baseball, that every day you can turn on a ballgame and have absolutely zero clue what's about to happen. Duran is just the latest example.
