The Texas Rangers are busy making pitching moves.
After sending down talented youngster Kumar Rocker, the Rangers are now bringing up a different, exciting right-hander.
Luis Curvelo was promoted to the major leagues on Friday, according to El Extra Base. He's been operating at Triple-A with a 1.64 ERA this season.
Curvelo, 24, will make his MLB debut if he gets into a game.
He was originally an international signing with the Mariners out of Venezuela.
Curvelo was with Seattle through the end of the 2024 season but never got to the majors.
He had a 2.57 ERA at Double-A last year, so Texas gave him a shot on a minor-league deal for this season.
The 6-foot-1 righty has a 26.9% strikeout rate this season and averages 95 miles per hour on his fastball.

According to MLB Trade Rumors, Curvelo throws his slider an astounding 55% of the time.
The Rangers haven't announced a corresponding roster move for Curvelo's promotion. They already activated veteran Chris Martin from the Injured List to take Rocker's roster spot.
Regardless, it's a potentially cool moment for Curvelo, who appears to have the talent to stick around, as well.
