The San Francisco Giants' batting lineup has really struggled this season.
They got some bad Matt Chapman news to pile on to the problem on Friday.
Chapman is eligible to return from the Injured List on June 20 from his right hand issue.
But ESPN's Buster Olney writes that Chapman may not return until July.

Olney also reported that Chapman had a meeting with a specialist on Friday.
Chapman got hurt sliding back into first base on Sunday.
The Giants placed him on the IL on Tuesday.

Chapman has been a leader for the Giants so far, with 12 home runs, 12 doubles, 30 RBI, seven steals and an .812 OPS. He also remains one of the top defensive third basemen in baseball and is a five-time Gold Glover.
The former Athletics star is in the second year of his six-year, $151 million deal with San Francisco.
The Giants will likely rely on Casey Schmitt as Chapman's replacement as long as he is out, but they'll be hoping his timeline is slightly more accelerated than it seems.
