Spencer Strider throws a firm fastball.
And on Tuesday night, the Braves star found Bryce Harper's right elbow squarely with a yanked heater in and off the plate.
Harper took the 95 mile per hour pitch on his unprotected throwing elbow while attempting to leap out of the way. There was simply nowhere to go.
The Phillies pulled Harper from the game.
After being hit by the pitch, Harper went down to a knee in foul territory in obvious pain.

The official news, via MLB.com's Mark Bowman: "Bryce Harper has a right elbow contusion. X-rays were negative."
As an immediate replacement, Philadelphia subbed in Edmundo Sosa to play third base and slid Alec Bohm over to Harper's spot at first base.
