The Rangers have taken a 2-1 series lead after picking up a road win over the Diamondbacks in Game 3.

Texas is a perfect 9-0 away from home this postseason, keeping the streak alive with a 3-1 victory on Monday. Corey Seager's two-run home run in the third inning was the key moment of the game, overshadowing a couple of unfortunate injuries for the Rangers.

Max Scherzer was forced to leave the game with a lower back injury despite looking sharp through three scoreless innings. Jon Gray settled in quickly in relief, delivering another three scoreless innings with three strikeouts and just one hit to pick up the win.

Adolis Garcia also left the game in the bottom of the eighth after suffering an oblique injury on a flyout in the top half of the inning. It will be worth monitoring the star outfielder's status ahead of Game 4 on Tuesday.

The Diamondbacks will go to a bullpen game in Game 4, giving the ball to LHP Joe Mantiply to start. Mantiply has made eight appearances for Arizona this postseason, owning a 2-0 record with a 4.26 ERA over 6.1 innings pitched.

The Rangers will start LHP Andrew Heaney, who has made two starts and two appearances in relief this postseason. Heaney has thrown 9.0 innings with five strikeouts and a 5.00 ERA.
