Despite having a "Minnesota nice" reputation, sports in the state's largest city are anything but. Baseball fans in Minneapolis regularly pack Target Field in order to support their team and strike fear into the hearts of opponents.

Opened in 2010, Target Field is the home venue for the Minnesota Twins, named after the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Throughout the years, the stadium has also hosted football, soccer and hockey matchups.

Target Field alters its seating map for concerts. The map below gives you the general layout for a concert, though it can change depending on how a performer sets up the stage.

Target Field bag policy 

All bags must be MLB compliant and no larger than 16x16x8 inches, even if they are clear.

Target Field does offer bag storage lockers for those with non-permitted bags. Fans can find this service outside of Gate 6.

Target Field parking options and cost

There are several parking options in Downtown Minneapolis, including more than 7,000 spaces adjacent to the venue. Fans can purchase parking passes ahead of time with SpotHero.

Parking around Target Field can cost anywhere between $20 and $60 on game and event days, depending on the type of parking and location.

Tailgating is not permitted for Twins games.

Target Field transportation, rideshare and taxi options

If you are using a rideshare app, taxi or bus service to travel to an event at Target Field, you can direct the vehicle to the designated drop-off and pick-up zones. Rideshare and taxi pick-up and drop-off will be located outside of the facility on Twins Way, between 7th and 10th Streets.

It is recommended to use public transportation to navigate to Target Field. The METRO Blue and Green light rail lines offer direct service to Target Field Station, as well as numerous Metro transit bus routes.

Does Target Field use mobile tickets?

Target Field uses mobile tickets for all events. Guests must display their passes on mobile phones in order to enter. Screenshots and physical tickets will not be scanned or accepted.

Where do I enter Target Field?

Guests may enter at any of the five general admission gates around the facility: Gate 3, 6, 14, 29 or 34.

Can I re-enter Target Field?

Re-entry is not permitted at Target Field under any circumstances. Tickets are good for one-time entry to games and events, unless in the case of an emergency.

Can I bring my purse into Target Field?

You can only bring a regular purse into Target Field if it's 16x16x8 inches or less. All bags are subject to a security check prior to entering.

Can I bring my baby or child to an event/game at Target Field?

Yes, but all guests three years of age and older must have a ticket in order to attend a Twins home game. All infants must be seated on an adult's lap and not interfere with the sightlines of other guests.

Can I bring outside food or beverages into Target Field?

No, you can't bring outside food and beverages into Target Field. The stadium will only allow one factory-sealed, one-liter water bottle or 24-ounce bottle that is empty and non-metal per person into the venue.

Can I bring my vape into Target Field?

No, you can't bring a vape into Target Field. Target Field is a completely non-smoking facility. All guests are prohibited from smoking (including electronic cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products) inside or outside of the stadium.
