While the Boston Red Sox struggled to get consistent production from first base with Triston Casas out, they released Garrett Cooper roughly two weeks ago.

Now, Cooper has found a new team, as he's signed a minor-league deal with the Baltimore Orioles, according to SportsGrid's Craig Mish.

Cooper, 33, hit just .171 with a .455 OPS and five RBIs in his 24 games with Boston, and now, he'll join Baltimore's Triple-A affiliate in Norfolk.

Since Cooper's departure, Boston has really leaned on Dominic Smith, who is hitting .221 with a .660 OPS, three home runs and 22 RBIs.
