The Phillies look like a machine that can't be stopped, but the crowd at Chase Field isn't ready to give in so easily.
The Diamondbacks will host an NLCS game in their home ballpark for the first time since 2007, and they need every ounce of home-field advantage to swing their way as they try to overcome a 2-0 series deficit Thursday.
It was all Phillies in Game 2, as Philadelphia pulled ahead on solo home runs early on and broke the game open in the later innings with a barrage of hits. On the mound, Aaron Nola was dominant, allowing three hits and walking none across six shutout innings.
Ranger Suarez has been a force for the Phillies this postseason, and he will be on the hill on Thursday night facing Diamondbacks rookie Brandon Pfaadt. Pfaadt looked confident against the Dodgers in the NLDS, and Arizona needs that version of the rookie again to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole.
