Report: At least seven teams interested in 39-year-old Torii Hunter image

Torii Hunter's days as an elite defensive outfielder are long gone, but the 39-year-old outfielder has remained a consistent source of offense the past couple seasons.

And that's why, now that he's a free agent, he's generating plenty of interest.

In his two years with the Tigers, Hunter averaged 143 games, 17 home runs, 84 RBIs and produced a .295/.327/.456 slash line. That's solid. And signing Hunter wouldn't require a long-term commitment, which would be appealing, too.

Hunter has been linked to the Tigers, Twins and Royals. And, according to Heyman, at least four other teams, too.
