Hope springs eternal at MLB spring training, as the baseball world descends upon Florida and Arizona for Grapefruit and Cactus League play, respectively.

There are plenty of reasons to tune in this year, not least of which is to see the new pitch clock and shift rules in action. Every team will be making plenty of adjustments, which should lead to some fun baseball.

Despite the game flow challenges, spring training will give the opportunity to see old faces in new places, allowing fans a glimpse of what to expect this season. There is also some MiLB talent in play, as young invites look to leave their mark.

Spring training is largely a localized affair, with RSNs getting the majority of the games. Some, however, are nationally televised.

How to watch MLB spring training without cable

MLB spring training will mostly be available on regional networks, the same as prior years. That means the way to watch in-market games will be to tune into your local RSN. With that being said, blackout restrictions do apply.

FuboTV is a way for cord-cutters to watch their favorite teams' networks while in their own markets.

For those outside their favorite team's market, MLB.TV is an option. With the addition of Minor League Baseball games this season, the price has gone up to $149.99 per year of $24.99 per month. Alternatively, it's $129.99 annually access to one team's games if that's all you're interested in. MLB.TV will black out all games within your market.

Nationally televised games will give streamers several options: fuboTV,  Sling TV,  DirecTV Stream, YouTube TV  and  Hulu+ Live Sports all carry ESPN, MLB Network, Fox, and FS1.
