In what was maybe the scariest moment of the 2014 MLB season, a fastball from Brewers pitcher Mike Fiers hit Marlins superstar Giancarlo Stanton flush on the face Thursday night.

The team announced early Friday that he suffered multiple facial fractures, dental damage and a laceration requiring stitches.

As word spread of the incident, players across baseball took to Twitter to express their support for Stanton and wish him well in his recovery. Fiers was one of those players.
