Giancarlo Stanton bolstered his lead on MLB sluggers with his 50th homer of the season on Sunday.
The two-run homer from "Cruz" — Stanton's nickname that's printed on his Players Weekend jersey — left the yard in the bottom of the eighth, and lifted the Marlins into a 4-2 lead over the Padres.
Stanton is the 28th player to join the 50 home run club. He's also setting an impressive pace.
