The Yankees have announced that they’ll honor Red Sox slugger David Ortiz in his final game in the Bronx, on September 29.
It’s a classy gesture, and fully expected after pinstripe legends Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter were honored at Fenway Park during the final seasons of their Hall of Fame careers. It’s the right thing to do.
Not every Yankees fan is too happy with this, though. Twitter’s a fun place.
