Look, we've all dealt with a little bit of Derek Jeter overload the past few weeks. Even Jeter himself admitted he was glad it was done after his final game in Boston.

But the unintentional Jeter Tribute inning on Thursday night at Camden Yards couldn't be ignored. By me, at least. The number 2 popped up everywhere on my screen.

I thought that would be it. I was so, so wrong.

And then Andrew Romine came up with two outs in the second inning. And, you guessed it, he worked the count to 2-2.

The tribute continued into the bottom half of the inning, too.

And then, perfection. Two balls, two strikes, two on, two out, tied 2-2 in the second inning.

Yeah. Does this mean the Yankees get back into the playoffs with a bye into the World Series, or that Jeter is automatically a free agent who can sign with any playoff team?
