Cody Bellinger has been battling back stiffness, but that's not why he's out of the New York Yankees lineup on Tuesday in Detroit.
No, chicken wings are to blame for that.
Bellinger has been "throwing up all night," manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Tuesday.
Boone shared that it's food poisoning. The Yankees believe it's because of some chicken wings Bellinger ate last night.
According to Boone, no one else on the Yankees is sick.
Bellinger apparently kept those wings all to himself.

It's not a terrible day to be off. The Yankees are facing lefty Tarik Skubal, the 2024 AL Cy Young winner who throws from the same side as Bellinger.
That'd be plenty of reason to feel sick, too.
