Miguel Vargas got in on the action for the Dodgers in Game 2 of their doubleheader against the Mets at Citi Field.
In the top of the sixth, with Los Angeles ahead 2-0, Vargas blasted an inner-half sinker from Mets lefty Jose Quintana over the left field fence for a solo home run that extended LA's lead to 3-0.
For Vargas it was his first home run of the season after clubbing seven in half a season with the Dodgers in 2023. Tuesday's long ball was his first homer since June 21 of last season in a 2-0 win over the Angels.
