The inferno is believed to be a vegetation fire. It was fairly tame at its start, sprawling over about a 1/4 acre. It's since grown to 2+ acres, according to Courtney.
UPDATE: Courtney reported at 8:52 p.m. that the fire was contained at around two acres, with resource crews remaining at the scene for an additional two hours to "mop up."
Los Angeles' clash with New York was not delayed. The Dodgers won 18-2.
