One of the greatest players in Detroit Tigers history is getting his spikes back out.
Miguel Cabrera is returning to the diamond.
Cabrera won't be coming back to MLB, at least not at the moment. But he's going to take part in the Venezuelan winter league back in his home country.
Ironically, Cabrera will be suiting up for the Tigres de Aragua, the Aragua Tigers.

Cabrera, 42, retired from MLB after the 2023 season.
In his legendary career, Cabrera blasted 511 home runs and hit .306/.382/.518.
He spent his MLB career with the Marlins (five years) and the Tigers (16 years). Cabrera won two MVPs and a Triple Crown.
Cabrera previously spent two winters (2006-07 and 2007-08) playing for Aragua. He was a .375 hitter in those short stints.
It'll be fun to see Cabrera back out on a baseball diamond enjoying the game he loves in his home country.
