Ronald Acuña Jr. is getting closer.
The Atlanta Braves superstar just played his first rehab game at Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday (after previously appearing in the complex league).
Acuña had a great night, going 2-for-3 with a monster double.
Check out this swing on the double, with Gwinnett also cluing us in that Acuña's single on the night left the bat at 106 miles per hour.

Acuña has been out for almost a year after tearing the ACL in his left knee.
The Braves have not announced a specific timeline yet.
The 27-year old has been one of the best players in baseball for essentially his entire career.
Acuña's career triple-slash line is .289/.379/.525.
His last full season, 2023, included 41 home runs and 73 stolen bases.
Acuña played 49 games last year before the injury, hitting four homers and stealing 16 bags.
The Braves could use him back as they currently enter Friday with a 22-22 record on the season.
Acuña's chance to improve that will come soon enough.
