Our daily fantasy baseball picks continue with starting pitcher rankings and advice for Monday's MLB slate.
There are plenty of good pitching options spread throughout Monday's 11-game schedule, both in the afternoon (five games) and evening slates. If you want to spend big on the mound, David Price (early) and Max Scherzer (late) should be worth every penny. If you're being frugal, there are some good values in plus matchups today (more on that below).

Daily fantasy baseball picks
Splurge: David Price, Red Sox vs. Orioles. Everyone is going to be on Max Scherzer ($11,600 on FD; $13,100 on DK) against the Braves if they can afford him, but is he really going to be about a grand better than Price ($10,500 on FD; $12,200 on DK)? I trust Price in any matchup, but if you're worried about the Orioles, consider Jon Lester ($10,700 on FD; $10,500 on DK) against the Reds, especially on DK.

Sell: Sonny Gray, A's vs. Angels. Nothing against Gray ($10,400 on FD; $9,600 on DK), but I'd rather have the other pitchers in this price range. Gray is a little more attractive (read: cheaper) on DK, though.
Save: Aaron Nola, Phillies vs. Padres. Love this matchup for the young righthander, who's just $6,800 on FanDuel and $8,500 on DK. Sure, the Padres finally started scoring in Colorado, but Citzens Bank Park is no Coors, and Nola is no [insert Rockies pitcher here]. He's clearly the best value in the afternoon; if you're looking for value late, you'll have to pay a little more for the likes of Steven Matz or Justin Verlander.
