Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks: Starting pitcher rankings for April 10 image

Our daily fantasy baseball picks continue with starting pitcher rankings and advice for Sunday's MLB slate.

There are a lot of great options on the mound today, so as long as you stick to the quality pitchers, I really don't think you can go wrong. In other words, be prepared to pay up for your pitcher(s) then find some values on offense.

Also, try to take advantage of cold weather if you can, but be ready to pivot if it's so bad that the game might be canceled. Now, let's take a look at our starting pitcher rankings (for daily and seasonal leagues) and picks below. As usual, we'll also have the day's best daily fantasy hitter picks and Fantasy Alarm's MLB DFS Playbook to help you find the best values on FanDuel and DraftKings. Good luck!

Splurge: Matt Harvey, Mets vs. Phillies. Yep, still pickin' on the Phillies. Harvey ($10,700 on FD; $11,900 on DK) should make short work of Philadelphia, but the site you play on could determine whether he's worth it. I'd pay up in FanDuel as the fourth-most expensive pitcher, but Harvey is the most expensive option on DK, so I'd probably lean toward Dallas Keuchel ($10,300, at Milwaukee) there. If Harvey is still too pricey for you on FanDuel, I also like Adam Wainwright ($9,500) at the Braves.

Sell: James Shields, Padres at Rockies. It's easy to eliminate most pitchers in Colorado, and Shields is no exception after tying for the MLB lead in homers allowed a year ago. Plus, he'll be moving up a day on short rest to start in place of Tyson Ross (shoulder), who landed on the DL. No, thanks.

Save: Joe Ross, Nationals vs. Marlins. Going back to Ross ($6,800 on FD; $7,800 on DK) after his start was pushed back a day due to cold weather. Assuming they play Sunday, that same cold weather is going to suppress both offenses, and Ross' hard sinker is going to be like hitting a frozen bowling ball.
