Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks: Starting pitcher rankings, advice for May 29 image

Our daily fantasy baseball picks continue with starting pitcher rankings, strategy, and advice for Sunday's MLB slate.

Warning: Don't get cute on the mound today. With Clayton Kershaw, Chris Sale, Stephen Strasburg starting, and even David Price and Johnny Cueto in tough matchups, there are going to be some huge pitching performances today. Make sure you pay up to get your share of those points.

That means you'll need to find the right hitter values in the right matchups to help fit in these aces. Let's take a look at today's full starting pitcher rankings and picks. As usual, we'll also have the DFS Playbook from Fantasy Alarm to help you find the best values on FanDuel and DraftKings. Good luck!

Splurge: Big 3. I'll make sure to get one of the "Big 3" today. Clayton Kershaw ($X on FD; $X on DK) is the most expensive on both sites; Sale ($11,800 on FD; $13,000 on DK) is cheapest on FanDuel, while Strasburg ($12,000 on FD; $12,600 on DK) is cheapest on DK. These guys will be heavily owned, but because they're all popular options, ownership should be about 30 percent or less.

Sell: Johnny Cueto, Giants at Rockies. My Bumgarner contrarian strategy wasn't a total disaster yesterday, but it was an unnecessary risk with so many other good arms on the mound. Same goes today for Cueto in Colorado. I'll just pay up for one of the Big 3 instead.

Save: Archie Bradley, D-backs vs. Padres. There are 13 pitchers priced at $8,500+ on FanDuel (i.e. a lot of depth), so if you're going cheap today, why not get real weird? Bradley ($6,000 on FD; $6,600 on DK) is a nice dirt-cheap, high-upside tournament play on both sites. If you want a little more security, Jimmy Nelson ($7,600) looks good on FanDuel against the Reds, while Francisco Liriano ($7,000) might be too cheap to pass up on DK.
