Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks: Starting pitcher rankings, advice for June 2

Our daily fantasy baseball picks continue with starting pitcher rankings, strategy, and advice for Thursday's MLB slate.

It's a light slate as usual on Thursdays, but this one's more difficult than usual. There are only three day games, which may deter you from playing that slate, and the worst part is that Madison Bumgarner, Kyle Hendricks, Zack Greinke, Dallas Keuchel and even Julio Urias (if you were going to get cute) all pitch early.

Splurge: Carlos Carrasco, Indians vs. Royals. I usually wouldn't jump right in on a pitcher fresh off the DL, especially with an 80-pitch limit, but there aren't many great options in the evening slate. I'll take my chances with Carrasco ($10,200 on FD; $10,300 on DK) against the depleted Royals.

Save: Matt Moore, Rays at Twins. The Twins have the third-lowest OPS and whiff at the fourth-highest rate against lefthanders. Sounds like a great matchup for Moore ($7,200 on FD; $8,100 on DK). 

Sell: Rick Porcello, Red Sox at Orioles. Porcello ($8,500 on FD; $9,100 on DK) has been too shaky lately to trust in Baltimore against the hot-hitting Orioles. There are safer options below his price points.
