Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup: Pitcher rankings, sleepers, advice for Sept. 22 image

There are few sure things in the pitcher rankings today, so expect Jake Arrieta to be headlining a lot of daily fantasy baseball lineups Tuesday. If he's your guy, we'll give you some value hitters to consider so you can squeeze in Arrieta.

You could also save some cash with the mid-tier starters, but it gets dicey. Danny Salazar stands out as someone with good upside who might not be heavily owned because of recent struggles. If you want to really go against the crowd, try the red-hot J.A. Happ in Colorado or the super-cheap Logan Verrett against the Braves. Regardless of your pitching strategy, good luck in all your DFS contests, and be sure to check out the best daily fantasy baseball picks from Fantasy Alarm.

Saves Sleepers

Another day, another save for Boston's Robbie Ross Jr. Ross converted his third save in as many days on Monday, though he did allow a solo homer to Richie Shaffer. Regardless, Ross will likely continue to get save chances for the rest of the year unless he needs a day off. Tuesday could be one of those days of rest considering how much he's worked lately. If Boston has a save opportunity, Jean Machi would likely get the call.

He only threw five pitches, but Luke Gregerson pitched for a third day in a row on Monday. If the Astros have a save chance on Tuesday, don't be surprised if Pat Neshek fills in for Gregerson.

Weather Watch

Though there are a lot of clouds around the league, there are no significant threats of rain Tuesday.
