Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup: Pitcher rankings, sleepers, advice for Sept. 21 image

The pitcher rankings are terrible Monday, so don't get too creative when choosing your daily fantasy baseball lineups. Even the big guys (David Price, Dallas Kuechel, Chris Archer) have tough matchups, and there are only a handful of value options you can trust (Jaime Garcia, Shelby Miller, Brett Anderson, Eduardo Rodriguez).

If you do pay up for one of the aces, we've got you covered with a few value hitters to help round out your DFS lineup. Good luck today, and also make sure to check out the best daily fantasy baseball picks from Fantasy Alarm.

Saves Sleepers

Robbie Ross Jr. picked up his second save in as many days for the Red Sox on Sunday, tossing a scoreless ninth inning against the Blue Jays. Ross struggled on Saturday but ultimately got the job done, and clearly that shaky outing didn't alter any plans the Red Sox seem to have for his role. He'll likely continue to close for the rest of the season.

With the Braves' recent spat of save chances, Arodys Vizcaino needed a break on Sunday, and Peter Moylan got the call in the ninth inning. He blew the save but wound up getting the win after Atlanta score in the bottom of the ninth. Look for Vizcaino to be back in there the next time Atlanta has a save opportunity.

Weather Watch

There are slight chances of rain in D.C. (30 percent) for Orioles-Nationals and in L.A. (40 percent) for D-backs-Dodgers, but it should be a fair day around the league.
