Week 3 Fantasy Rankings: Kicker

There's been too much time spent in the first two weeks waiting to see if Michael Badgley is healthy or needs to be replaced in our fantasy kicker rankings on Sunday. Normally you can just forget about injured kickers, but Badgley is worth keeping tabs on since he's a top-10 kicker when healthy. Besides him, we have a fast riser in the Week 3 rankings in Carolina's Joey Slye, who we put in our top 12 last week ahead of a huge game on Thursday Night Football -- a kicker sleeper if there ever was one.

Heading into Week 3, Adam Vinatieri looks to be unownable in fantasy leagues after missing two extra points for Indianapolis on Sunday. The veteran kicker hinted at possible retirement after the game, so stay tuned on his status throughout the week. (Update: Vinatieri will remain the Colts kicker for the time being.)

We're also looking at the rare "Kicker Revenge Game" in Week 3 when Oakland's Daniel Carlson plays against the Vikings, who released him after Week 2 last year. So, if you're looking for a fun reason to pick up and play a kicker, Carlson's your guy. Otherwise, these are pretty straightforward, and you probably can just stick with whoever has been in your lineup the first two weeks.
