Week 15 Fantasy Rankings: Kicker

Week 15 Fantasy Rankings: Kicker image

If Jason Sanders is going to catch a touchdown and/or kick seven field goals every week, maybe he should be higher in our Week 15 fantasy kicker rankings. Those of you who hadn't already begun the fantasy playoffs are surely there now, so it remains as important as ever to nail your kicker decision instead of kicking it off an upright, and while Sanders is rising, he's still not in our top 12. However, developments throughout the week (read: weather), could alter start 'em, sit 'em decisions.

One name worth noting here that can have a variety of different values depending on your kicker scoring system is Brett Maher. Assuming Dallas doesn't replace him, he's much more valuable in leagues that don't penalize for misses. Maher has one of the biggest boots in the league, so if you don't lose for misses, push him up the rankings at least a few spots. He just misses a bit too much to be a good option in leagues with negative points for misses. We've also shifted Daniel Carlson further down the rankings as his early-season successes have turned into obvious late-season struggles.

WEEK 15 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST

The trickiest weather situations to keep an eye on this week will likely come in Packers vs. Bears (in Green Bay), Giants vs. Dolphins (in New Jersey) and Steelers vs. Bills (in Pittsburgh). The top end of the rankings feature a lot of positive dome or warm weather locales that make for great kicking weather.
