Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup: Pitcher rankings, sleepers, advice for Oct. 1 image

It's getting tough to confidently set daily fantasy baseball lineups with all the rain around the league, and there's more in the forecast Thursday (more on that below). That said, if it looks like the Braves and Nationals will get their game in down in Atlanta, we're all in on Stephen Strasburg.

We also like Rich Hill as a sneaky, cheap play, but his game has weather worries, too. If you decide to play it safe and pay up for Strasburg, we'll help you squeeze in the hitter values in the right matchups. Also be sure to check out Fantasy Alarm's MLB DFS Playbook, too. Good luck in all your daily fantasy baseball contests!

Saves Sleepers

Daniel Hudson picked up his fourth save of the year on Wednesday, working around a two-out single to preserve Arizona's 3-1 lead against the Rockies. Brad Ziegler is away from the team to be his wife while she gives birth. It's possible he doesn't return to the team this season, so Hudson could collect another save or two over the weekend.

Check our MLB Closer Depth Chart for potential changes.

Weather Watch

There could be more bad weather Thursday, so be careful setting your daily fantasy baseball lineups in advance. Here are the games facing the biggest threats of rain: Blue Jays-Orioles in Baltimore (70-percent chance of rain); Mets-Phillies in Philadelphia (70 percent); Red Sox-Yankees in New York (64 percent); and Nationals-Braves in Atlanta (50 percent).
