Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup: Pitcher rankings, sleepers, advice for Sept. 16 image

When setting your daily fantasy baseball lineups Wednesday, it's going to be tough to ignore the aces atop our pitcher rankings, specifically David Price against the Braves. If you go that route, we'll help you find some daily fantasy baseball value hitters so you can afford Price and/or another ace.

Of course, there are also mid-level values like Gio Gonzalez (at Phillies) and Luis Severino (at Rays) in great matchups if you want to save cash on the mound. Either way, let's get your daily fantasy baseball lineups ready with our starting pitcher rankings, closer news and weather reports below. As usual, we'll also have hitter matchups and daily fantasy baseball picks to help you win some cash.

Saves Sleepers

A night after Brad Boxberger was rocked for four runs in just two-thirds of an inning, Brandon Gomes was called on to protect a three-run lead in the ninth inning for the Rays. Gomes worked around a two-out single to retire the side. It seems unlikely that the Rays will strip Boxberger of his closer duties this late in the year, but he only threw 16 pitches on Monday, so it's not as if he should've been unavailable for Tuesday's game. Boxberger is still the front-runner for the Rays' next save chance, but Gomes is obviously a candidate, too.

Weather Watch

There are no significant threats of rain Wednesday, so it should be a clear day for baseball.
