Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup: Pitcher rankings, sleepers, advice for Sept. 25 image

Friday's pitcher rankings feature several worthy candidates to take the mound for your daily fantasy baseball lineups. Jordan Zimmermann stands out as the most attractive option because he's been on a roll for the last month, save for one hiccup — a six-run blemish at Philadelphia. We're betting on different results against the Phillies this time at home, and Zimmermann may be under-owned because of that recent letdown.

You could pay a little more for Gerrit Cole or Noah Syndergaard, but we also like Carlos Martinez and Carlos Rodon, both of whom should come much cheaper. Either way, we'll help you identify the right hitter matchups to fill out the rest of your lineups. Good luck in all your daily fantasy baseball contests, and be sure to check out today's best DFS picks from Fantasy Alarm, too.

Saves Sleepers

Baltimore's Darren O'Day and Tampa's Brad Boxberger both picked up their third saves in as many days on Thursday. There's a good chance both will get a day off today, but it's unclear who would close for the Orioles or Rays if either have a save situation. Our best guesses are Brad Brach for Baltimore and Brandon Gomes for Tampa.

Check our MLB Closer Depth Chart for potential changes.

Weather Watch

There are slight chances of rain in Cincinnati (Mets-Reds) and D.C. (Phillies-Nationals), but nothing for fantasy owners to worry about Friday.
