Week 12 Fantasy PPR Rankings: TE

Because of Travis Kelce's absence this week, the top of our Week 12 fantasy TE PPR rankings is lacking one of the most consistent high-volume threats at the position. That said, there are still plenty of depth options available and potential streamers who can be utilized, but Kelce owners may have some difficult waiver wire decisions as to who they may want to grab to start in his place this week.

Our top streaming options both come from the Steelers-Broncos game. Jeff Heuerman has seen 16 targets in the past two games and takes on a Steelers defense that hasn't been particularly good against TEs this year. Heuerman has a lot of PPR upside because of his high volume of targets in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Vance McDonald gets a similarly solid matchup against the Broncos' defense that just allowed Antonio Gates to go off for five catches, 80 yards, and a TD. Considering that McDonald is superior to Gates at this point in their careers, McDonald should have a chance for a strong outing. C.J. Uzomah, Chris Herndon, and the Seahawks duo of Nick Vannett and Ed Dickson are also in the streaming mix, though the latter two are mainly TD-or-bust options.

The other big thing that will impact our TE rankings is injuries to a couple of the other top players at the position. Jimmy Graham is expected to miss four-to-six weeks after breaking his thumb against the Seahawks on Thursday night, although Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Graham might try to play through the injury. Either way, we're not excited about him. Elsewhere, O.J. Howard is dealing with an ankle injury that kept him off the field on the final drive of the game for the Buccaneers, and it's unclear the extent of that. He's currently in our rankings, but we'll stay vigilant on his status and will certainly update our rankings throughout the week depending on how he fares in practice.
