Week 10 Fantasy PPR Rankings: RB image

Duke Johnson and Theo Riddick re-emerged last week after quiet and/or injury-plagued seasons, and Elijah McGuire intrigued in his season debut. These are the types of running backs that standard leaguers have moderate interest in on the waiver wire, but in PPR leagues, these sleepers can be every-week starters. Our Week 10 RB PPR rankings are here to help you with your tough start 'em, sit 'em decisions this week.

Of course, yards and TDs are still worth the most, so stud backs with favorable matchups remain at the top of the rankings, especially the ones who stay on the field on third downs. Finding the balance between a "pass-catching back" like Tarik Cohen and a power-back who will get maybe double the overall touches like Jordan Howard is always a trick in PPR leagues. We believe both are borderline RB1s in a favorable matchup against the Lions this week, but we expect Cohen to total more than the one reception he's had in each of the past two weeks. In the previous three games, he racked up 22 catches. The upside is there for a big performance, but it's fair for his owners to be nervous.

Week 11 Standard Rankings:
Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Kicker

As always, it's worthwhile to look at the average number of receptions to RBs allowed by each team. Entering Week 9, the Falcons allowed 8.9 catches per game to backs, which certainly bodes well for Duke Johnson after his breakout last week. Of course, we're not just automatically going to assume Johnson will be a key part of the Browns offense after basically being an afterthought for eight weeks, but things are trending in the right direction. The Colts allow 7.5 catches per game to backs, which makes T.J. Yeldon an intriguing option, but with Leonard Fournette (hamstring) expected back and Carlos Hyde also in the mix, it's tough to get too excited about him. The same is true for Jalen Richard, who gets virtually no yards on the ground and is yet to top 60 receiving yards in a game or find the end zone.

Other teams that allow a lot of receptions are the Patriots (facing Dion Lewis this week), Chiefs (David Johnson), Eagles (Ezekiel Elliott), Bengals (Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram), Redskins (Peyton Barber), and Rams (Mike Davis/Chris Carson), so perhaps those players have even upside than we're giving them credit for.
