After winning the 2025 Australian Darts Masters last weekend, Littler was back at it in New Zealand.

After a scare against Haupai Puha in the first round last week, Littler cruised relatively easily through his matches on Friday and Saturday in Auckland.

Littler faced rival Luke Humphries in this weekend's final for the first time in two and a half months, making some history along the way.

Luke Littler produces near-record average in final against Luke Humphries

Littler won four games en route to back-to-back World Series of Darts event titles.

He beat world number one Luke Humphries in the final, but interestingly enough, his closest game came against Mark Cleaver in the first round.

Littler beat Cleaver 6-4 in the first round, producing a 95.60 average.

His averages improved as the rounds progressed, finishing the tournament with an average of 115.02 against Humphries in an 8-4 win.

115.02 is the third-highest average ever produced in a game on a World Series of Darts stage, trailing only Gerwyn Price (115.31) and Michael van Gerwen (118.21).

After what appeared to be a drought for Littler's standards, he has now won two World Series of Darts event titles and the World Matchplay in a matter of a few weeks.

Littler has to feel good about some of his unbeatable performances lately, as some huge majors are approaching in the coming months.

PDC action resumes on Aug. 25 as Player Championship 24 is up next.
