Gemma Hayter heads pack at MODUS Super Series Women's Week III image

The third edition of Women’s Week commenced at the MODUS Super Series with a dozen women scheduled to attempt to join Rhian O’Sullivan and Kirsi Viinikainen as Women's Week Champions.

Gemma Hayter took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of on top, after winning four of her five Group A matches.

Hayter, who last appeared at the Super Series back in February, made her return by taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four of her five matches, as she recorded victories against Lisa Ashton, Trina Gulliver, Kirsty Hutchinson and Paige Pauling, with her only defeat coming against Kirsi Viinikainen, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.


Elsewhere, Trina Gulliver also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Hayter on leg difference, whilst Kirsi Viinikainen sits in 3rd on 6 points, Lisa Ashton in 4th on 4 points, with Paige Pauling and Kirsty Hutchinson sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.


TheMODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Hayter leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the MODUS YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
