Halle Berry is getting the last laugh.
The Oscar-winning actress uploaded a series of photos to her Instagram while she enjoyed her 59th birthday on Thursday (Aug. 14). Berry shared photos of herself laughing while she was on vacation with her boyfriend Van Hunt, following the viral comments her ex-husband, David Justice, said about her earlier this week.
The retired MLB player got on former NBA star Matt Barnes’ “All the Smoke” podcast, where he threw some shade at his ex-wife.
“There really wasn’t a lot of negative attention until I decided to leave her in 1996,” the ex-Yankees star said. “… She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months. I said, ‘OK’ because I couldn’t say no … but I don’t know if my heart was really into it."
“… My knowledge and wisdom around relationships wasn’t vast," Justice continued. "So I’m looking at my mom, and I’m a midwest guy, so in my mind I’m thinking, a wife at that time should cook, clean — and then I’m thinking, ‘OK if we have kids, is this the woman I want to have kids with or a family with.
“And at that time, as a young guy, she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem like motherly and then we start having issues,” he said.

However, Berry didn't pay any mind and shared her photos of her enjoying wine on a boat while she celebrated her 59th birthday. The actress trolled Justice by captioning her vacation photos, "Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering," she wrote.
Berry got a lot of support in the comment section, with one person writing, "I love this so much!!!!"
"Your light means so much to me! Thank you for shining so brightly!" another fan wrote.
"Halle got em’ in they feelings all these years later!" another fan commented.
Justice has been married to Rebecca Villalobos since 2001 and they share three children together.
Berry has a daughter named Nahla Ariela Aubry and a son named Maceo-Robert Martinez. She shares her daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and her son with her ex-husband Oliver Martinez.
