Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert has been facing some heat ever since he split from his pregnant girlfriend, Julia Bonilla, last month.
Things reportedly got messy when the four-time Defensive Player of the Year broke things off with the mother of his one-year-old son and kicked her out of his house, according to TMZ Sports.
Over the weekend, the drama took a turn for the worse when Bonilla slammed him in a series of social media posts, making it clear that she wasn't going to let the NBA star walk away from the relationship quietly.
She even went as far as to threaten to "destroy" someone's image, although she never mentioned the NBA player by name.
"You have every right to speak your truth -- to share what happened and how it affected you. Their discomfort isn't your responsibility. If they wanted to be seen in a better light, they should've treated you better," Bonilla posted, per TMZ.
She followed the post up with a series of photos of their son, Romeo, and a message that said she would always protect the child, and that they would soon be "home, at peace and filled with love."
To add more fuel to the drama, Bonilla included a snap of several large pieces of luggage and storage containers, suggesting that she and her son were living out of suitcases, as they no longer had a home.
"Onto our next airbnb again," she wrote.
The NBA star's ex also posted a meme that read, "When you know you can destroy their image and narrative by telling your side of the story, but then you remember rotten fruit always falls on its own."
Before the drama unfolded, Gobert attempted to smooth the situation over by claiming that "inaccurate information" was circulating regarding his split from his baby's mother. He is yet to address Bonilla's latest claims.
The couple went public with their relationship in February 2024 when Gobert revealed that he was expecting a child with Bonilla.
At the time, he posted a photo on Instagram with his hand on Bonilla's pregnant belly as he gave her a kiss.
