Lauren Chan, one of four reigning Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover stars, felt “powerful” in an outfit so scorching hot she was dubbed the “Catwalk Assassin.” (Although spelled missing an "s" at the end to say "sin.")
The model’s turn on the catwalk has since gone viral.
“THE CATWALK ASSAS!N💥,” Chan captioned her Monday, June 2 Instagram video. “Bringing c*nty country (ahem: latex chaps) to @si_swimsuit’s Miami Swim Week Show felt more powerful than ever.”
Then she gave credit to fellow cover model, who made the moment-extra epic.
“The best part?” she wrote. “Sharing the runway with the iconic @jordanchiles—watch ‘til the end to see the literal Olympian flip down the stage. Mic (whip??) drop!! ⛓️💥.”
“OH MY GOD,” commented influencer Alix Earle, who also walked in the show. “OUF. THAT WALK. I felt it,” added another commenter, one of hundreds. “I’m shook,” said another.
The scorching hot moment was part of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Runway Show, which was held Saturday night on the super-glam pool deck of the W South Beach. The splashy event featured mostly models from the current issue of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.
Also walking in the show were (cover star) Livvy Dunne, Xandra Pohl, Ellie Thumann, Jena Sims, Ilona Maher, Katie Austin, Jena Sims, Nicole Williams English, Ali Truwit, Camille Kostek, Achieng Agutu, Jasmine Sanders and Denise Bidot — plus reality TV stars Bethenney Frankel and Stassi Schroeder.
