Sabrina Ionescu had a great reaction to meeting Jackie Chan.
The New York Liberty star met the actor just before her team took on the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday night at Barclay's Center. The two could be seen posing for a few pictures, and chatted for a few minutes before Ionescu had to take off to prepare for the game. The fun exchange was captured by WNBA reporter Aliyah Funschelle, who posted the clip onto her X account with the caption "Jackie Chan pulled up."
After the game, which saw the Liberty grabbing the win 82–77 and Ionescu scoring 24 points, the star athlete was asked about her experiences meeting the actor by reporters. "I can't believe it was really him," she said, still in awe of the interaction.

She continued: "I feel like I've just grown up watching so many of his movies." As for what the Rush Hour actor is really like in person? Ionescu says he is pretty down to earth. "He's like so in character—honestly probably one of my favorite actors. He's so funny. And being able to see him in real life was pretty surreal."
What a great experience for Ionescu, who very much appears to be a real Jackie Chan fan.
The season is also going pretty well thus far for the Liberty, who are off to a stellar 5-0 start.
