Does Livvy Dunne miss gymnastics? According to her TikTok, she very much does.
In a throwback video posted to TikTok on Thursday, June 12, she executed a flawless tumbling pass. In the social media share, Dunne, 22, is wearing a tight two-piece workout outfit in the colors of her Louisiana State University alma mater, purple and gold.
“Say I don’t miss gymnastics but I hate a liar,” she wrote over the video, which was captioned, "I miss summer practices."
The nostalgic post struck a cord with other former athletes.
“I was just thinking how crazy it is that sports and hobbies usually end senior year,” commented one fan. “Why can’t we do it all our lives? Weird culture.”

“I miss going [to] summer practices and training,” agreed a fellow former gymnast. “I miss going to my gymnastics practices. I love the sport more than anything but had to quit.”
“I miss those summer practices, too,” lamented a third. “The gym felt like home.”
Dunne has certainly landed on her feet. One fan asked, “What does a retired college gymnast do after college?” Dunne answered, “Get the cover of sports illustrated.”
Dunne is indeed a reigning cover star of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, for which she flaunted her flawless gymnast’s figure in a series of barely-there bathing suits. She also recently traveled to Miami to walk in the iconic magazine’s Swim Week fashion show.
