Livvy Dunne rose to fame (and NIL fortune) as a gymnastics star at LSU.
And on Thursday, July 3 she took to TikTok to share a collage of painful falls — hitting the balance beam, bars and floor in a series of major body plants — wearing only a tiny practice leotard as protection.
“You’re only 22 it shouldn’t hurt to get out of bed in the morning,” she wrote over the social media video. “It built character [to be honest],” she added in the caption.
As a Lady Tiger, Dunne led her team to its first-ever NCAA national championship in 2024. She committed to a fifth year (after qualifying because of a missed Covid-era season), but the team failed to hold on to its title. The injured Dunne then retired.
“That back one look like it hurt,” winced one fan. “I couldn’t feel my left foot after but I continued practice,” Dunne answered.
“How are you still in one piece,” asked another.

“Serious question — do/can gymnasts get CTE?” queried a third, who urged future studies on the matter that’s currently a big issue in football.
Dunne is a reigning Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover star, flaunting her flawless gymnastics figure in a series of barely-there swimsuits. The muscular athlete also recently walked in the iconic magazine’s runway show to close out Miami Swim Week at the glam W South Beach. She dropped into a full split on the runway, a moment that made headlines.
