Livvy Dunne hit the beach in a red-and-white plaid, All-American string bikini, while revisiting her gymnastics glory days on social media.
In the stunning photo, the gymnast phenom — and reigning Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover star — sits on the beach.
“I love summer but…” she wrote over the August 6 TikTok share. Then she scrolled to a collage of six epic photos from her time at Louisiana State University, where she led the gymnastics team to its first ever NCAA national championships. The third photo featured a selfie of Dunne with the words “jk I’m washed.”
“12th year senior comments incoming,” she captioned the share as a whole.
The quip was in reference to her taking heat regarding her fifth year as a Lady Tiger, which she qualified for due to her affected year due to the Covid pandemic.
“Go back for [your] doctorate,” wrote her sister, Julianna. “Dr. Dunne has a nice ring to it,” Dunne answered.
Since graduating from LSU, Dunne has posed for the cover of Sports Illustrated and hit the runway for the iconic magazine’s fashion show to close out Miami Swim Week this past May 31. The VIP-only, sold-out show featured mostly models from this year’s issue and took place at the super-glam W South Beach.
Also walking in the show were fellow 2025 cover stars Jordan Chiles and Lauren Chan, plus models such as Penny Lane, Xandra Pohl, Jena Sims, Ilona Maher, Katie Austin, Nicole Williams English, Ali Truwit, Camille Kostek, Achieng Agutu, Jasmine Sanders and Denise Bidot.
