Two ranked women's soccer squads will renew their California rivalry early in the 2025 season.

No. 7 Stanford will host No. 16 Santa Clara for both teams' second game of the season. These squads played each other last year as part of the nonconference schedule, with Stanford winning 1-0.

It was the only meeting last season, but both teams had major success, reaching the NCAA Tournament. Santa Clara lost in the second round to North Carolina, the eventual champions. Stanford, meanwhile, lost to Wake Forest in the semifinals.
