After respective dramatic victories Saturday, No. 2 Kentucky and No. 3 Texas A&M meet in the winner's bracket of the men's College World Series on Monday evening.
The Wildcats used a pair of late-inning home runs to down No. 10 NC State. Ryan Nicholson tied the game with a solo shot in the ninth inning, and Mitchell Daly launched a walk-off home run in the 10th.
The Aggies, meanwhile, saw their heroics take place in the field. Right fielder Jace LaViolette robbed Florida second baseman Cade Kurland of a go-ahead, two-run home run in the ninth inning. Texas A&M held on to win, 3-2.
Now, the two SEC foes will clash for the first time this season. Texas A&M holds the all-time series advantage, 13-8.
