Coastal Carolina keeps on winning.

The Chanticleers entered their College World Series clash with Oregon State winners of 24 straight. They were spearheaded by their rotation, a swash-buckling collection of arms that has swept aside even the most daunting of opposition lineups.

The Beavers endured a similar fate on Sunday. Oregon State struggled to amount much of anything when matched up against Coastal Carolina and its lead arbalest, Jacob Morrison.

Morrison was nigh-on faultless in his latest outing, collecting seven strikeouts while surrendering just five hits and one earned run in 7.2 innings of work. Morrison started the match with a flourish, retiring six of his first eight batters faced. He was momentarily pegged back by a lead-off Easton Talt homer at the start of the third inning.

But instead of losing his composure, Morrison found life. He proceeded to retire 15 straight batters, scuppering a Beavers attack that entered the matchup renowned for its fireworks.

The Sporting News tracked live updates from the Chanticleers' duel with Oregon State. Below are the highlights, analysis and more as two of college baseball's greatest sides jousted in the College World Series.
