Every MLB team is back in action for Tuesday's slate of games. While games like Yankees-Guardians and Mets-Dodgers will headline the day, there are plenty of betting opportunities beyond those matchups.
When looking at certain matchups, there are prop bets that stick out as the best options for Tuesday night. We will be looking at that Yankees-Guardians for one of my bets, but there are some interesting MLB betting markets available in the Orioles-Mariners and Twins-Athletics games, too.

#1: Carlos Rodon 8+ Strikeouts vs. Guardians
Carlos Rodon has been a different pitcher for the Yankees in 2025. He is in the midst of his best season since 2022, when he was with the San Francisco Giants. He is achieving it in a different way, predominantly throwing a four-seam fastball, a slider, and a changeup, as opposed to mainly throwing just his fastball and slider.
The change in pitch mix has helped Rodon this season, giving him a 31.7% strikeout rate so far. The Guardians can be a tough team to rack up strikeouts against, but Rodon fanned eight last time he faced them on April 23. He has also struck out eight or more batters in seven of his 12 starts this year. In two of the five starts that he did not strike out eight, he fell short by just one with seven Ks.
At +130 odds, I like Rodon to strike out at least eight against Cleveland on Tuesday.
#2: George Kirby Under 5.5 Strikeouts vs. Orioles
At peak form, George Kirby is one of the more dominant pitchers in MLB. However, he just recently came back from a shoulder injury, and his two outings since indicate that he still needs time to work his way back.
There should be no concern about Kirby eventually getting back to prior performance, but he gave up five runs in 3.2 innings in his first start against the Astros before giving up six in 5.0 innings in his second against the Nationals. He struck out four in each of those outings.
The Orioles do have a propensity for striking out, but it is still early for Kirby. Knowing this, Mariners manager Dan Wilson will not want to overwork him, so a quick hook is very possible.
The good news for Kirby is that his velocity has been in line with prior seasons so far, so it should just take some refinement with location to get back. We should be back to taking overs for Kirby at some point, but as of now, I think under 5.5 strikeouts at -115 odds is a good bet.
#3: Jacob Wilson 2+ Total Bases vs. Twins
Jacob Wilson is one of the more unique players in MLB and is currently the frontrunner for the AL Rookie of the Year Award.
Although Wilson is not known to hit the ball particularly hard, he is elite when it comes to making contact and avoiding strikeouts. This leads to his .355 batting average and .393 on-base percentage this season. It is very similar to how Luis Arraez has produced high batting averages in the past. However, Wilson is a faster runner and better base runner than Arraez.
It will not be an easy matchup for Wilson, as he will face Minnesota Twins starter Pablo Lopez. With +105 odds, I still like him to have 2+ total bases on Tuesday.
