After getting shut out on Friday in the MLB player props market, we rebounded on Saturday with a perfect 2-0 card, including a +132 hit on Tarik Skubal strikeouts. That runs our weekly total to8-5 with one 15-game slate remaining on Sunday.
Our favorite target in terms of MLB betting on today’s menu comes from the Angels-Guardians contest, where JoseRamirez continues to terrorize enemy pitchers.

MLB Player Prop Picks for June 1
MLB Player Prop Pick #1: Jose Ramirez Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBI (-155 at Bet365)
Ramirez enters play slashing .407/.448/.593 over the past 15 days, clearing over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI in 10 of his past 12 games. He’s smacked 21 hits, scored 11 runs, and produced 10 RBI during that stretch, while his .324 season-long average ranks eighth in MLB.
Ramirez is making hard contact at a 40% clip and draws a very favorable matchup versus LA’s Jack Kochanowicz. The 24-year-old has coughed up 4+ runs in back-to-back outings and has battled serious control problems all season.
Kochanowicz has an 11% walk rate and a 14.3% home run to fly ball rate. Opponent lineups are making hard contact at a 47.6% clip against him, slashing .276/.364/.417 along the way.
Clay Holmes Under 1.5 Earned Runs (+105 at Bet365)
We’re going plus-money hunting with our second wager, targeting under 1.5 earned runs for the Mets Clay Holmes. The 32-year-old has accomplished the feat in six of his past 10 starts, and now gets the most favorable matchup in baseball.
He’ll square off against the dreadful Rockies lineup, which has produced only four runs in the first two games of their series in New York. Colorado hasn’t exceeded three runs in a game in almost a week, while their lineup ranks at or near the bottom of virtually every offensive category.
That’s saying something given they play half their games in baseball’s most hitter-friendly park. When they’re not at home, the results are flat out pitiful, as Colorado is averaging only 2.3 runs per game. They’re slashing .191/.254/.301 away from Coors Field, striking out at a 30% clip.
Corbin Burnes Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+115 at DraftKings)
We’ll continue our plus-money hunt with over 5.5 strikeouts for Arizona’s Corbin Burnes. The 30-year-old has cleared that mark in three straight starts and has looked like an Ace over the past month. Burnes boasts a .167 ERA over the past 30 days, despite facing the defending champion Dodgers twice.
He’s allowed 2 runs or less in six of his last seven starts, and has a strong track record against the Nationals lineup. Burnes has held the current Washington batters to a .213 average over 61 at-bats, with a 26% strikeout rate.
