Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson has already received his flowers for his incredible NBA career, earning his Basketball Hall of Fame enshrinement in 2016.

But now, it's time for him to help a former teammate receive his recognition for his career on the hardwood, that teammate coming from his time on the Denver Nuggets in Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony, a member of the legendary 2003 NBA draft that also housed LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, was announced as an official member of the Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025, and asked the 2001 NBA MVP to be one of the two presenters at his induction.

Iverson accepted the only way "The Answer" could, taking to his own Instagram to express his gratitude for Anthony choosing his to be a part of the highlight, posting a picture of the two posing for the 2008 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans.

The caption for the post reads, "Congratulations Bro! I'm HONORED and blessed to be chosen to welcome you into the Hall of Fame! @carmeloanthony #HOF"

Following the decade that Iverson spent in the "City of Brotherly Love," he was traded to the Nuggets in 2006, where Anthony was on the rise. Together, in the 113 games they played together, the Nuggets were victorious in 91 of those contests.

Iverson and Anthony were both named to 10 All-Star Games in their respective careers, both were scoring champions at one point, and both were named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary as two of the 75 greatest players in NBA history.
