For one weekend, Springfield, Mass. will serve as the center of the basketball world as the newest members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame will be enshrined.
This year's class features some of the most notable game-changers in the history of the game, six of whom made an indelible impact during their time in the NBA.
Headlining the class is the man that became synonymous with Dallas basketball, the face of the Heat franchise and the NBA's all-time leader in wins as a head coach. Between the six NBA inductees is a total of 15 NBA titles and a host of other individual awards.
And those six only are a part of the prestigious class joining the Hall.

Who is in the Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2023?
This year sees 12 new members enter the Hall — five players, six coaches and a historic team.
The Class of 2023 is headlined by NBA championship players Pau Gasol, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, and Dwyane Wade as well as championship coach Gregg Popovich.
In addition, former NC State head coach Jim Valvano will be inducted posthumously, and the 1976 U.S. Olympic women's team, a groundbreaking group that participated in the Olympics' first-ever offering of women's basketball, are among the other inductees.
